Remove the developing unit and inspect the magnetic roller, toner layer on the roll should be equally distributed front to back.
If not, you have a toner supply problem. If ok than look into optics & laser scanner area and transfer.

As Rachid Posted check internal print - if only occurring on copies clean Scanner Unit, if occurring on both and still doing after all other checks, maybe push the lower R/H side of the door in as a copy is made, sometimes the hinge can be bent.

Try cleaning the slit glass in front of the laser unit there may be toner on it. You need to remove the drum to see it.

Is you issue common to copying and printing (if the machine is not a printer, print a report or a pprint) ?

If the image on the drum is good but faint on the paper, the problem may reside in the transfer section of the copy process.

Re-seat transfer roller and confirm correct pressure.

Another possible cause is when the developing assembly is not receiving correct cam pressure.
was this a new developer unit ?/it must have a good magnetic brush which is even across the entire surface.

image density is light on the rear side of the copy.

In this case> transfer roller was not properly attached to the mounting bracket. The transfer roller was removed and repositioned in the bracket working free the bind within the bracket.
In this case, the transfer roller, spring and bracket were replaced.

Check the front and rear transfer arms for proper positioning..
When positioned properly, each end of the transfer roller should "spring back" after being pressed.
If the roller is not positioned correctly, check that the springs on each end are in place.

    note:
When there is a bind from a metal roller in a plastic bracket, it is recommended to replace the plastic part as it may have been damaged and allow the symptom to return.

    another thing to check >
    is checking &
cleaning toner from the slit glass located on the scanner laser assembly
