Canon IR 2620 - Feeder problems

    Hi everybody

Just brought one of these, the copier works fine and I was shown the feeder working. However when I got it setup the feeder worked the first day and never again. I've checked the cables and don't see any problems. Is there any other way to check what's happened. I get no green light from the feeder but if I unclip the cable the printer does recognise the feeders been disconnected. Any help would be appreciated.

you shouldnt get a green light until paper is present in the feeder, i would open the cover and check to see if the sensor arm is off or stuck.if the feeder doesnt detect paper it wont feed

Thanks, I'm pretty new to this photocopier, is there a picture or diagram somewhere that shows what the correct position for the arm should be or where exactly its located?
