Imagerunner 4 amber lights at startup

I am trying to setup an IR600 that just arrived from PA.
The machine error codes right at power up.
It is a Canon Imagerunner 600 with a F1 finisher.
It was working fine 5 days ago at the previous user's location. It was shipped via truck and appears to have been moved safely. Symptom: After I hard power switch on and then soft power switch on, within 5 seconds the machine beeps 3 times, copy A is lit, all 4 amber error lights are lit solid. Please wait message in diplay is constant. Machine never starts warm-up/revolutions cycle. Scanner does not home/zero either. Service mode can be entered. Any help is appreciated.

I suspect that your hard drive did not travel so well.

    =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      oops

Try resetting the connectors to the hard drive, this happens.
Like the United States Postal Service It's a miracle it works!

Check that the glass is installed correctly. There is a small tab that the glass pushes on on the left rear corner. If the tab is not pushed far enough or there is a problem with the sensor then the scanner will not move and the machine will go into an error. The machine does not display this error for some reason, it only locks up the machine and the control panel.

Try powering it up with the front door open, this will prevent the scanner from initializing and prevent it from going into an error. This should allow you to go into service mode and check the error code. If it is the scanner the error will show E-202.

          jammed

4 amber lights? sounds like you have a jam. paper at sensor or sensor activated. open fixing assy and look real hard in there for paper or transparency. Paper can be like an accordion there and hard to see.next follow the paper path from cassette or paper deck, open right doors, look around there, pull out the drawers and paper decks. look behind them for paper. Paper behind the fix feeder frame assy stuck in the connector. same for duplex unit.
paper can become lodged behind the #1 paper deck drawer and you have to shine a light in there to see. or you can remove the # 1 feed assy to make sure. If you have a service manual you can go into the I/O mode and look at the sensors in the paper path and see which one is activated. Also the display mode will tell you what the jam is. go to service mode to see this. matter of fact, look there first. sounds like the machine is powering up and the progress bar goes all the way then it says warming up and shows the jams. maybe it never warms up, because you need to remove the jam condition first.
make sure the sensor flag at each location returns when activated manually with your finger. Continue by pulling the fix feeder assy tray out toward you, look at the entrance on the right side of it. there is a flag (sensor arm) there.
then there should be three at the fixing assy. one is right after the fixing assy,
the other to the left of the opening that goes down to the duplex area. the third one is just after the fixing assy usually never has a problem, hard to realize where it is, because it barely sticks up and has a half round kind of sensor actuator. Make sure all doors are closed.
