    IR 400 Constant paper jam

Does anyone know what code I use to find the specific paper error in this machine. It has a constant paper feed error in the paper feed unit. I used to be able to clear it by unplugging the PF connector and then reconnect it. Isn't there a code that will tell me which sensor it is. I no longer have a manual other than Intrivia for this old box. Sometimes the machine clears itself. It hasn't for days now.

    Jam code? Error code? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: IR 400 Constant paper jam

Thank you. I'm assuming the Jam code is 010B. There were four jam codes all contained 010B.
        0228 2156 2156 0 010B 8 000088 Free is what the display read

From your table is should be a delay jam of internal delivery sensor PS9. Which means the sensor never read it, correct? I wonder why it doesn't clear? I went back today and it's working again. Thanks for your help. Now I just need it's location. It must be a flaky sensor. Sounds like it's not even in the PF unit.

Sounds like its looking for paper from bypass then jams. Theres a lever on the rear side of the right cover that pops out and the machine will think theres paper in the bypass and try to feed. Usually happens at power on. Most levers I've seen are black. Something to look at. 010B is bypass pre reg sensor

Thank you for a plan of attack. If nothing else I'll change (swap) it with another. I'll check the sensor flag. This machine has only 51000 prints on it. It's a blue model. One of the last 400's I think.
