Good morning, I work mainly on HP, Kyocera and ricoh but have a customer with 2 6055i machines. 1 is showing the above error, could somebody advise me in the right directions please, as to what it is and how to clear it. Many thanks in advance.

should be as easy as clearing it and then restarting.
To clear the error, go to service mode (*, 2 & 8, *) (the star with the circle around it...) > COPIER > FUNCTION > CLEAR, then selectERR and press OK.
After you press OK, just power cycle the machine and you should be good to go.......

While I was waiting for a reply I reset the error in service mode, unsure as to wether it would clear, but it did. Thanks for your reply and letting me know the cause of the issue. The copier is up and running now and as it it is under warranty I'll get Canon out to have a look, thank you.

Consider getting some thermistors if the error comes back again.
