I'll say that it appears to be a developing issue of some sort. How many clicks on the developing unit? Could some aftermarket toner be mixed with the OEM? Without vacuuming out the unit it could take a very long time to rid yourself of the contamination through normal use. =^..^=

Please find attach sample. Note the grey shade background with black spots. Replace drum unit. try adjustments in service mode; Dev bias adjustment but no improvement in quality
