But i was referring to another machine: irc-4080 UFR standing next to the irc-4080 with the H1 server, the H1 prints ok when it works.
There is an N2 printer kit available for the ir-4080i, i wanted to know if some one can share their experience on the print quality.

    Thanks!

hard to understand what u are speaking about ???

1-in your first post u stated
I have been having this issues with an IRC-4080 with fiery H1 server installed--
and then continued about 4080 with H1

2-then mid way down in posts reply's u commented
There are other printers including an IRC-4080I UFR, and all print ok, on the same network.
3- now u say the 4080 w/H1 is OK !!!/ and the 4080i has the issue

you can Convert an ' i ' Model Machine to Accept an imagePASS Device
The machine can be configured to accept and function with an imagePASS H1
You have to order and install the Open Interface PCB or (R0-B PCB) into the machine. Once installed it will automatically disable the UFRII / PCL Print Kit-H1.The Canon part number to order the Open Interface Board is FM2-7430-000.

    PostScript Print Driver Functionality-
Color settings range from one touch profiles to expert settings where individual image quality attributes can be chosen by the operator/ user.

      Sorry for the confusion,

Machines are stressing me out ta bit, the H1 still has some issues but we are still trying working
with it, it has some driver related problem that we are trying to figure out.

I will try the interface board for the ir-4080i.

Thanks for all the information , and will keep you posted on the progress.

Well I replaced the H1 unit box, and this solved the problems I had.
