I have installed the latest software V93.01, replaced the cross cable between server and machine, even disassembled the server box cleaned the inside and reseated connectors and memory chips, but problem stayed , first it seemed to work for a while , but then same thing again.The strange thing is that sometimes when it won't print i get out of printing properties than back in change paper sizes and or settings than it starts printing again, I don't know if its' mi operating system Windows 7, 64 but this very frustrating , i really want to put this thing to work for the the quality on graphics & flyers we print.
Also reinstalled printer driver again with no improvement.
I am using PS this is the only driver giving the quality needed for mi work.

Anny other ideas?

Server version is 2.0, the driver is correct for the server version, but firmware is outdated 61.02 .

I ques i will have to update firmware, and i will let you know how it does.

make sure u have the latest version of firmware for iRC4080 v89.03 or later

Canon U.S.A. : Support & Drivers : imagePASS-H1

on H1 ?? what ver. do u have 2.0 ?/ 1.2 ?/ 1.0 ?

make sure u select correct PS Driver for ver.

Server version is 2.0, the driver is correct for the server version, but firmware is outdated 61.02 .

I have been having this issues with an IRC-4080 with fiery H1 server installed , the last days it's on and off when printing, meaning sometimes it prints sometinmes not .
sometimes after sending a print job the machine does not respond , it just sits there and no prints coming out.
On the server display there is 00 , and every thing looks normal and you can even ping the machine.
So far I tried rebooting , reconfigering settings, re install driver but problem stays. driver is PS.
I am not sure if it,s a problem with the switch box, I have other printers installed and they print Ok

Any ideas much apreciated,
