IR 3570 scanning

"Canon Universal Send and Multi-PDL Print Package-A1"

Will this work on a IR-3570 to get machine scanning? The customer is able to print at this time. Since this is new do I still need to call canon for code to activate or something else? Obviously Im not a Canon dealer so just want to make sure before I buy it. I'm confused because I see "B1" also listed as the scan kit for IR3570.

there is a Package that includes both Printer Kit & Send Kit
IR2270/2870/3570/4570, UNIVERSAL SEND & MULTI PDL PRINT PACKAGE A1


remember _printer needs the "N" firmware installed

The Multi-PDL Printer Kit-E1 /
needs no license > comes with "N" Boot Rom & instructions for install + Scan Gear install

outside USA u need to install the expansion RAM 256MB with this Kit

Send function is available only if the optional Universal Send Kit is activated by registering a license key.

A license key can be obtained via a Web Browser to access the license management system. Access the system by entering the following URL: Canon - MEAP -.
For more information on obtaining the license key, see the License Access Number Certificate and the License Registration Booklet included with the various optional kits.
• The license key must be registered on the actual machine. You cannot register the license key through the Remote UI.
• You do not need to register a license key to use the Fax function.
