    Canon IC-6590 no power

Going out to look at this machine. Customer said the power light is lit but will not turn on. Is there a fuse or any known problem with pwr supply boards going bad? Or any other suggestions? Only 6k on meter.

    Thanks

Not sure if the model is a typo error - however turn mc off/on and check for possible Fixing Error in Srv mode - clear error then off/on.

Also check for "download standby" message. Display lights may not be on but the message would still be visible.

Thanks for the replies. It is definitely a IC6590.

Brian, If that "download standby" message is on display what does that mean?

        Thanks again

Firmware problem. You may be able to clear it by holding down 1 and 9 while turning power
