Hey guys, thanks for reading. I have a Canon IR3035 that when scanning through the ADF will scan as if it's going to do double sided prints even though it is not selected. It doesn't actually print the both sides it just scans. When I select duplex it does just one extra pass through the ADF and will print double sided. It takes a lot longer to copy multiple documents through the ADF because of this. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: IR3035 ADF Scanning for Duplex when not selected
Are you a tech?
For the hell of check these settings in service mode.
Check the setting under COPIER>OPTION>BODY>LEVEL 2>SCANSLCT. (*28* *2 COPIER>OPTION>BODY>SCANSLCT.) There are two settings available.
0: OFF (Determining the scan area by document detection)
1: ON (Determining scan area by paper size)
If the setting is "1" the feeder will scan the original twice. Set to "0" for single scanning.Comment

Re: IR3035 ADF Scanning for Duplex when not selected
Yes im a tech. Not as knowledgeable as I would like to be but I try. I have a initialized all copy settings and it still did it. I will check those settings in service mode when I go back. Hopefully that's it but I don't know how it could have been changed. Thank you for your reply. Any other tips would be helpful so I can be prepared when I go back. ThanksComment
