Downloading Firmware

Hi,
I have Problem when downloading firmware IR5570
The machine already connected to the pc.
when i try to hdd format,
i got notice "HDformat, if it is required, register it to the SST"





and then i try downloading firmware,
i got E244.





what should i do??
how to register HDD format to the SST??

Hi, Your service support tools seem be a old version 3.11 this version is not compatible with the equipment the last version is 4.72 . Try a last version.

As HELIO stated - download the latest version 4.72 of SST, here is an explanation of your SST Error (though it is an IR7000).

Service Support Tool Error E244
Error response 0803: Write error has happened on the machine.
This error will occur when a HDD Format is not performed prior to upgrade.



The ALL_HDF Batch File and Formatting the Hard Drive:
The ALL_HDF batch file does NOT format the HDD. The HDD must be formatted by using the HDFormat file. On the iR7000 machines, you must connect to the device in 'Single Mode' to format the HDD with the HDFormat file.

Yes install the latest SST & if that doesn't work delete & reinstall the firmware to the SST.

there is no individual SST for iR's all use the same SST--

Does the post mean he needs the firmware AND the SST!?

Here is the IR3300 firmware, it has both the copier & network version, make sure you select the correct version when uploading to the copier, if not you will get a mismatch error.
