[CQ] CANON iRC3580 Copies Fine Print Very light

    Hi Everyone

Copies b/w and colour fine from copy glass, but when you print from any PC copies are very light
    on colour and B/W.

Also when you do config page on additional function for printer also same light, but
Isend and network report print fine.

Tried PCL6 PCL5c and UFRII drivers no joy
Updated to latest Firmware as well

checked all drums itb earthing plate on door etc no joy

    Any input would be appreciated

    thanks in advance

If Internal Prints (Test Prints,Config Pages) are Light including Network Prints ( using a Imagepass-J1 or from PCL Printer Kit-Q3 ) u need to remove those calibrations-

Then do a FULL AUTO CALIBRATION (Auto Gradation Adjustment -Select Printer Only >> THEN USE YOUR EFI Spectrometer/or X-Rite Densitometor or KODAK GRAY SCALE TO RE-CALIBRATE (Fiery RIP Calibration)

Multi PDL Print Board could be bad or needs ends cleaned & re-seated >>>

set Toner Saver Mode to OFF--
Print out a PS Configuration Page to verify. Under the Print Quality section, make sure the Toner Save option is set to OFF.
If it is set to ON, Press Additional Functions, Printer Settings, Settings, Print Quality and then Toner Save to OFF.
        if applies>>>>>>>
Go to the UFR printer driver: Properties> Quality> Print Details> Toner Save and select "Off".
toner save mode is set to "On" by default on the UFR printer driver.

        check---
With the PCL printer driver, toner save mode is set to "Off" by default.
The toner save mode may be set to "On" --change to "OFF"

darken the output when printing a grayscale using a PCL driver

Click File>Print, makes sure you choose the correct Canon printer. Go to Properties>Quality tab> Select Graphics>Press details>change Graphics Mode to Raster and make sure rendering rate stays at 24 BPP then press OK. Check the Manual grayscale Settings checkbox and click Grayscale Settings…Set Brightness to Dark. In addition, setting Contrast to low darkens the grayscale some more. Press OK, OK and Print.
Note: In order to make the grayscale settings to work, Graphics mode should be set to Raster.
