    canon S-1 Finsher

have S-1 thats ticking me off a little make a copy Tray goes to the bottom stays there paper comes out paper hits the floor tray comes back home.if i leave paper in the tray finisher tray works fine... replaced tray sensor no change ran it without a tray sensor worked fine.
some bozo had there hands in there as well there is a low voltage wire hooked up to nothing plugs on both ends i have another working finisher that i looked at theres no place for that wire to go.. just crazy.

i made a small video of what its doing.

    any help would be appreciated.

I think I had smth like that in the past.

As far as I can remember - we blew air into the sensors (only in the finisher area)

    the cleaning did the trick

I looks like the "face-up delivery' feature to me. Admittedly odd. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Problem :
The finisher output tray drives to the bottom when the imageRUNNER is powered on.

          Solution :
The stack tray shift sensor PI7 was fault and needed to be replaced. The part number for the sensor is WG8-5696-000.
