    Both the upper & lower fuser rollers are rubber & both form flat spots, once that happens you can't doing anything about it.
    You can refirb the unit buy simply replacing both rollers & I used to also fit new bearings & bushings at the same time. Then as mentioned update the firmware & I found setting the sleep time to 30 mins helped prolong the fuser life

      Have to put this a bit on the low priority list ..... and focus on our clc 3200 with with imagepass c1 ver. 2

      that doesn't have those issues
