    IR600

E001-000 its not the fuser lamps, sub or main thermistors, or fuse. Heater lamps turn on for 10seconds then turn off, then power switch shuts off. what am i missing??? thanks in advance.....

I have a few possibilities for you:

    1) Check for a loose connection on the ribbon cable on the DC controller.
    2) Possible cold solder joints on TH1 or TH2.
    3) Defective Relay PCB.

You say that it's not the thermistors. How did you come to that conclusion? Cold solder joints can can be maddeningly difficult to diagnose if you don't look straight at them. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

You need to clear the error code in service mode before you do anything. If you don't, the machine will just shut off just as you described. It will even shut off if you are in service mode but do not clear the error quick enough. Clear the code and you will probably find the machine will work okay. Go to function, clear, error.

I always save that one for the last resort. It's the least common and the most expensive, especially if your wrong. Congratulations! =^..^=

did you try the post that says clear the err? could save you alot of grief. it goes into the lock up so customer doesn't screw something up. go into service mode as soon as you turn on machine, do it with the front door open, go to copier>function>clear>err then reboot the copier and your done, probably works now and walk away from it. These codes can happen because of power glitches from the wall outlet. Also I have seen a small piece of paper in the connector behind the fixing transport drawer. Either way you still have to clear the error.

Did you try to clear the error first? Replacing a DCC is a very expensive way to clear an error that is easily cleared through service mode. I see this error every other day it is probably 1 out of 1000 that need a DCC to fix it. Usually it's a glitch as yourownfree described. You see it after thunderstorms and on Monday mornings. Next it's usually paper stuck in the connector and then flaky thermistors.
