OK so far the machine has issues with envelopes, com10. What has been the best formula for you experts to use? Is the Manual feed tray an option or should customer be sold envelope option tray. If so, is the tray worth the upgrade in your opinion. Will the staples stuff not wrinkle? Please, your thoughts, experience. Thank you.

COPIER > OPTION > FEED-SW > EVLP-SPD
There are two settings:
0 = 1/2 Speed (default)
1 = 1/1 SpeedWhen loading envelopes on the
imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5000 Series, the position that the envelopes are loaded can pose wrinkling problems due to the position of the flapper.
It has been tested that if the envelope is turned 180 degrees, it has produced better results with decrease wrinkling and jams.
This has been proven as a workaround with the Envelope Feed Tray Assembly that mounts in Cassette 2.
Also you can change the following settings in Service Mode
Copier > Option > Feed-Sw > EVLP-SPD and EVLP-FS
These settings have proven to resolve wrinkling and misfeeding issues.
NOTE: Please be aware that the only remedy to envelope issues is to try other types of envelopes. This has been a proven remedy in the field.**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**

Well the customer was getting smashed crinkle at the end of the Env. Slammed in some 24 lb Staples Env with the staples labeled adhesive strip. Not the lightweight ones. Worked a treat on default settings!Comment
