ir 550, adf 2 sided jamming

Have 3 copiers in one week that have the same problem. When you select 2 sided copies, the first sheet stops midway up the first turn in the adf. The first time it happened i changed the adf pcb board and the two sensor boards that are replaced from the top, well to me they look like sensor pcb's. Also i did clean all rollers and cleaned and checked the drive assy. for any binding or anything wierd. The first copier has very light use around 90,000 copies the other two about 600,000. I replaced the three adfs for now till i figure out what the fix is. No error codes just jam codes and since i am at home i dont have the jam code availlable. Hope i have enough info. if not let me know and i will get what you need. Thanks everyone.

you can do a sensor check to tell you what sensor is causing you he problem it is on page 5-39 in adf service a manual.. also there is a wire that brakes in the feed unit that can cause you some wierd problems.but the first thing I would do is make sure all your sensors are clean along with the all the rollers

      Jam codes please. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
