    Canon IR Advance C5035

    This machine will not fax out or receive. I get no dial tone. I have tested the phone line at the wall and it tested good. Changed out the phone line. Replaced the entire fax PCB assembly. I even rolled the machine to a different room and connected it to a known working phone line. Still no dial tone and not faxing. Has anyone seen this before.. any ideas... Thanks in Advance

    I'd start by updating the firmware.
    Then initialize the fax in servce mode, then set it to your correct country/line type

      No something stupid as the volume turned down by any chance..??

      If you press "On Hook" on the display, do you here the relay clicking at all..?

      Just a wild stab in the dark, for something so silly
