[CQ] IRAC 5030 Black blobs of toner

I've got an irac5030 it's putting small black spots of toner, looks like a unit is leaking however no units are above the paper feed, quite intermintent, every 20 prints or so, always in the same place.

I have fitted a new transfer cleaning unit as it was at 107% life, this made no difference.

All the other drums & dev's are all under 70%

I have a black dev unit on order now, not sure what else it could be!?

Is there black developer in waste bottle_?

If so, your on right track, ___

HVT 2 provides the primary charge for the black drum, could be an added issue.

Thanks, the print quality is perfect, all excellent solids etc.

I see what happens after I replace the black dev!

I went back to this one & fitted a new black dev unit, but it is still producing small black blobs of toner on the prints!

I'm going back with a black drum, but has anyone else got any suggestions?

        Thanks.

What life is your fixing film assy ? I replace mine about 300k but check for build up on the blade before this.. Are you using genuine toner also ? I would do both dev and drum if not..
Oh...... I can't copy at the moment then ? !!!!!!

Changed the drum today, still no good, although it is better, only an occasional tiny blob of toner every 20-30 pages of so.

Fuser life is still OK. But yes maybe there is toner build up on the fuser guide etc!

Always used genuine toner first thing I thought of.
