    [CQ] C5501 Skew

    Hi,

I have a problem with a customers KM C5501 where it is skewed by about 1mm
from top to bottom and i cant seem to find any adjustments for this.

It is happening from all trays and all card stocks, and it is always the same amount of skew.
Most jobs it is unnoticble but they have started to print business cards and when they cut them it
    looks crap.

    Thanks in advance

Is it an optical skew or a paper skew? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

to adj the image skew of the FD and CD

        Untitled.jpg
to adj the image skew of FD (back side)
        Untited.jpg
i think that you will always find a skew especially on the bottom right corner

          Genius bachirabouzeid

I knew there must have been an adjustment for it but could find the correct one in the manual.
It was the first adjustment that did the job.

          Thanks

If it was the registration section adjustment it was a paper skew, not an optical skew. The way you can tell is to wrap a piece of tape around one of the charge units. You will get a void through that color. Measure the void to the edge of the paper. If it's the same lead to trail, it's an optical skew, because the paper passed through straight. If the void skews you know it's the paper.

            Congratulations on your success. =^..^=
