Check what size paper is selected on you print driver
if it is not the same as the paper in your trays the machine will ask you to place the correct size on the bypass tray

your print driver on your pc may be default to a different size

so your driver has A4 selected, plain paper type and auto paper tray selected
and the machine trays are set to A4 and plain paper type
is this a new install or has the machine been working ok and this error just started
did you try uninstall and re install the driver

there may have been an update to the server or pc that has affected the driver
does the same problem happen on other pc's

''there is no matching paper size. place paper in bypass tray''
the message tells you that the machine does not have the correct paper size
but you know it has and it shows in the machine display
so the only conclusion can be the information sent from the pc's is incorrect
it is prossible the server has had an update that is causing the problem
if you can connect your laptop to the machine and print this will help prove it

What size and type of paper is the machine asking for. When there is a message like that it usually says something like "place A4 thick 2 paper in bypass".
                    What is the exact message?

The last time I saw this exact issue there was a school administrator that created her own PDF documents with paper size: Custom 11 x 8 1/2.

Not Letter! Custom 11 x 8 1/2 original size will not auto select the Letter paper, but it can be manually selected as a print driver selection. =^..^=

                        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
