I too have asked myself this same question. Curious if anyone has done it though. Kinda like the du-102's somebody had to try a du-104 to find out they work.

If you look at the image closely you will see a hole at 10 'o' clock that is where the pin used to be, by removing the pin you can use the drums on C1060l no problem.
I just swapped 3 OPC drums from DU-104 to DU-106. I put OPC drum from C6500 to C3070L without any problem. They fit perfectly at half the price. And less than half of lifespan, as well. DU-104 has 180 000 clicks, while DU-106 has 460 000. But it was an emergency and I had spare parts.
