My machine is konica minolta 203. I got the firmware to put my machine. I have 128 MB and 256 MB compact flash drive brand sandisk brand. I put the firmware throw the firmware tool kit while extracting the firmware it is coming error while copying to flash drive. But extrating the firmware from the pen drive to computer it is ok. But extracting to pen drive only it is happening. So please give me a solution

I've always formatted them without any issue, but mainly because I buy them used dirt cheap on eBay so dont want peoples photo albums on the firmware card!Let us eat, drink, and be merry, because tomorrow we may die!

The firmware kit formats the card to vxworks as it writes the firmware so doing a Windows format isn't going to hurt.
CF cards internally fitted to machines however, should never be formatted!Comment
