    951 CQ weird

The first pic is the original the second is the copy. You can obviously see the heavy background on the top half, but if you look closely you'll see that the bottom half of the image is repeated/ superimposed on the top half. The drum and Dev both have 750k, the charge coronas and grid have 220k. Any ideas?

With counts like that, the machine should be up for PM right? Might as well compete the PM and see if the problem persists.

I am having trouble uploading images.

Well that was what the prints looked like.

Ok I'll admit I've had this same issue on this machine. Replacing charge wires and grid solved the issue then. That was 220k ago. I could order and replace again the charge components and see if it solves the issue, but I'd like to get to the root cause. The machine is only about 2 years old and has over 3 million copies. I don't want to have to come back every 200k to replace coronas. We have at least 10 of these in the field.

Just powering down may make it go away. If it does, you'll probably need the LED printhead. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks Blackcat, I had powered it down to take a look at the condition of the charge unit, which looks okay. It didn't disappear. I'm going back tomorrow to replace charge wires and grid. I'll update afterwards.

I replaced the charge wires and grid. It didn't help this time. Thanks for the replies. I'll order the head and post results.
