Bizhub C220 won't start up

    Bizhub C220 won't start up

    After removing, cleaning, and reinstalling the ADF and replacing the paper feed tray, I plugged the power cable back into the machine, and turned on the primary power switch, the machine failed to successfully start. The data transfer light flickers for a second, then turns off, and I can hear the fan running, but that's it. I've tried to diagnose the problem every way I know how, but with a grand total of 2-3 months as a technician, that didn't take long.

    Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

      Did you unplug the network cable before starting.
      Does the hour glass appear.
      Does the fuser get hot?

          Hi there!
          Common issue, cleaning, switch on - nothing happens. After reloading the firmware it was running again. Had this ca. 8 times.

              I don't like the new copier I just bought. It says "put face down" but every time I do it, it blinds my eyes.

                  What happens if you disconnect the DF again? Does it power up? =^..^=
                  If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                  1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                  2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                  3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                  4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                  5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                      i know this is a stupid question, is the Sub Power switch on?
                      We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
                      The medication helps though...
