    BizHub 552 ADF

    I haven't been out to look at machine but customer said the ADF will suddenly stop working. When they try to use ADF a message shows on display, something like "this feature cannot be used at this time". Sounds like it is isolated. They can get it to work again by turning machine off and back on. ADF may work for a few hours or even a few days before locking up again.

    NO codes showing. Not sure about if codes show in service mode. I will check when I go there.

    Anyone ever see anything like this?

      I usually see that with the x52DS machines. The cleaning brush\white roller not going back to home position.
      Its unusual for a single sided feeder to do that..
      Please check the exact jam code in history and let me/us know.
      We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
      The medication helps though...

          It would show a C code in history. Probably a C8104 or something like it.
          Could be glass movement trouble.

          It uses a slit glass that moves bit by bit to stop wear.
