Re: Fail Reset in Minolta C 451
allan is correct, a .063A (1/16 amp) pico fuse is what is needed.
years ago we used an analog corona wire about an inch long and that used to work 3 outta 5 times. We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
The medication helps though...Comment

Re: Fail Reset in Minolta C 451
Check ICP2 on the Printer Control Board it may be blown. If you still have drum refurb kits for the DI250 or DI2510 they have pico fuses in the box, use one of thoseComment

Re: Fail Reset in Minolta C 451
Not to sound harsh but you can always just replace the fuser with a new one. If the customer has a service contract they have been paying for one along the way.
If you cannot get the correct fuse you dont have many options.
Also when using a corona wire you must use one from an old analog copier. The corinas for digital machines are much tougher and will not "pop"
If there is an oil roller in the fuser its likely dried out and will only cause a call-back later when the rollers start to collect toner. We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.

Re: Fail Reset in Minolta C 451
No need to bother resetting the fuser, transfer life or image units, just turn off the warning in CE mode. (Firmware update maybe required depending on version)Let us eat, drink, and be merry, because tomorrow we may die!

I agree however once it's calling for a consumable it won't work. You have to turn off notifications before EOL. Then it works. We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
