[Misc] Konica bizhub 920

I just got a used Konica 920 and the Scan feature seems to be disabled. I can't find how to re-enable it in the service manual. Can someone help? I need to enable the Scan feature again. SMB scan so I can set it up to scan to a shared network folder.

SMB is useally on but its in admin mode if memory serves

Thank you for the reply. I see it in the admin section in the web portal. It is turned on but there is no other settings. Just see disable or enable there is no address book, user and password setup for the folder etc... no place to put in the folder path. If it is on then shouldn't I see a place or a tab somewhere that lets me put in the share folder log in settings. etc....

Also, on the machine touch panel itself, when I push scan button, the SMB is grayed out. Any clue ??

Problem
Cannot set up scan to SMB, FTP, HDD, or E-mail because the icons are grayed out
Solution

CAUSE: The features are set to "Restrict" in the Admin mode.



SOLUTION: To enable these features, perform the following:

1. Press the Utility button.

2. Select Administrator.

3. Select System Setting.

4. Select Prohibit User Operations and set the requested scan feature to "Allow".

Answer

To set up an SMB one-touch destination from the main body, perform the following:

1. Press the SCAN key.

2. Press the SMB icon.

3. Press Address Input.

4. Enter the Profiles name, Characters for search, Password, Login, Host Address and File Path.

5. Press register.
