    BH-C-25, left ADF hinge

    Anyone having a solution for the cracked ADF hinge on a BH-C-25, other than getting a new part from KonicaMinolta for lots of $$$$'s?

    Having three BH-C-25's and two MC-1690mf with that problem......

      that hinge is under $40.00 US, best to just replace it and ask the user to be a little nicer to the feeder


      We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
      The medication helps though...

          A lot of the smaller Sharp DFs have the same condition. There's nothing to do but change the hinge. The manufacturer needs to ask themselves: "I wonder would would happen if I were to put really strong springs inside a plastic hinge assembly, and then worked it back and forth a few thousand times?" =^..^=
          If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                  This hinge should be <10$. Max. I paid for one (for various models) was 7$. In every case new one (I presume modified) never broke again.

                      Also remember them to be priced around there if you are a KM dealer....

                          The cheapest quote I got was 68.00 Euro = 75.00 USD........

                              I don't know exact price for bhC25 but, I changed some original cover hinges on bh 215, bh 283, bh C224 which are very similar in construction with higne on c25 adf.
                              Usualy there is a price difference from one model to another but your price is 10x higher
