C658 config defaults revert back to default

Hello,

We have just changed copiers to the KM C658 models. 11 machines. On the print server (running 2008) the copiers keep reverting back to default config. This is happening on 4-5 machines. I have unchecked the auto obtain setting and then it is able to obtain the correct device config. However, once I click apply and ok when I get back in the config goes back to default and auto is reselected. New copy vendor has no solution for me. Anyone else have any ideas??

are you selecting manual then ok

try (if you havent) click printer properties, ADVANCED, printing defaults.
thats where you make the changes that (should) stay.
not printing preferences, thats only per job.
