    Hecon connector kit

I have a customer who had a Hecon remote counter hooked up to their old copier, and the connector was taken away with the old machine (the pickup drivers say they didn't take anything, of course). The connector kit supplied by Konica only has the part that goes from the 4-pin black connector on the copier to a large 6-pin white connector. The Hecon cable left behind at the customer's location is a smaller 6pin connector. There's supposed to be a short cable that goes in between that has a ground wire coming out of it. Where do we get this from?

what model do they have now?
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

Many of the older copiers had a loop that completed the key counter circuit. the C454e will have 4 wires that lead to a male and female connector, but no wire loop. It's enabled in Manual Function Choice (page I553 of you service manual).

According to the C452 service manual there is a 7 wire harness that leads to an 8 pin connector, but no loop. Look at page 721 of your field service manual: Management Function Choice.

        Nope. No wire loop. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
