    Status/Counter Notifications

    Hi,
    I have tried to set-up status/counter notifications on Bizhub C284 + C203 without success.
I have set-up machine on the network for scan to email function which is working fine.
I have checked in Email TX SMTP
    E-mail TX Setting
    Scan to E-mail ON OFF
    E-mail Notification ON OFF
    Total Counter Notification ON OFF
and also have set-up in Maintenance Column
the Status Notification + Total Counter Notification email address setting.
However I do not receive the notifications after testing.
I must be missing something other settings?
    Thanks for input.

not all customers networks will allow these to send outside of their network, I normally pass it to the customers IT, and they sort it so the IP address is allowed to send out...
Tip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away...

      .
These are devices that are set-up in our own workshop and are using our own internal mail server.
It seems to me that I am missing a setting somewhere.

We don't normally monitor our devices this way but use software on a server/p.c. to do the monitoring, hence why I haven't set this up before.
I want to be able to use this function where the software is not working as it should for whatever reason.

some mail servers will block anything that appears to be spam.
make sure the admin address is a known safe sender to the recipient
holy crap i spelled recipient correctly without word check
boink out the network settings in initialization and redo?
        check/upgrade FW
change the copiers IP to something else

just some of the things i'd try myself.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
        The medication helps though...

          authentication: ON
          uid: same as sender
          pswd: gmail acc pswd
          mail.google.com
.OK Google! ... will I need Berrocca this morning?

He said it's an internal email server and it works for scan to email.
Try a different email to send to internal or external see if it was just the account it was trying to send to.
