there is a setting for adjusting transfer voltage of trail edge.

We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

Is you faint area in which direction on which size paper? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        good question!
i just assumed it was the trailing edge from memory of that image.

It may be dirt in the optics of the laser, it has to be disassembled and cleaned well

If it is on all colours, I would suspect the transfer belt or roller. Also, use the magic wand on the inside of the door to clean the printheads.

Could be the media type. If the weight of the paper is greater thatn 80gsm it could cause banding as described. You can adjust the 2nd transfer voltages in service mode
