      What are the symptoms that you think the reset will fix?
      We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
      The medication helps though...

              Probably hoping to zero the counter. Then he can sell a 7 year old copier as new, 0 copies. =^..^=
              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                  Our client has 4 ricoh photocopies and 1 konica photocopy in his possession. Wants to work with us on this machine. But the machine's password is changed and we can not reset the fault warnings.

                      There are back door methods to access service mode without password. You can then disable CE authentication

                              Well I know on the c224 if you unplugged the fuser unit while at password screen when fuser error popped up if you press menu it put you into service mode and skips password screen. Not sure if that glitch works on other models
