    [Jamming] konica 1250 jams

    Hello All

this is my first post so I am hoping I can find some useful technical help.

I run a direct mail company and print on (3) Konica 1250 B&W printers

My current dilemma is I am printing on an 8.5 x 11 "snap pack" form with a 1x3 diecut poly window

The printer is throwing codes because of the sensors in the printer sees the window and stops printing

Has anyone had this issue and come across a solution.

Of course the Konica service technician says it will not work, but I believe there is a way to get around this. We have tried different trays and directions but not working.

Any suggestions? Much appreciate any input

    Thanks
    Glen

For what it's worth envelopes with a plastic window have no business in a laser copier/printer. The fuser is made to iron toner in paper not have plastic running through it. No embossing no foil seal just paper.
Any trouble free use with uncertified media is a gift not a given.
I'm sorry to say the 1250 or any laser copier is not supposed to handle that kind of media.
    Your tech is correct.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

Just eliminate the window?? Print variable data on the first sheet. Where does this snap pack things come from are they pre-printed?
could you post one of those?
Thu how many layers does this window go?
      Whatever

This snap pack, does it have a button?
If so all bets are off.
