2 months ago I replaced developer and drum following standar procedure. After replacement image was ok.
I performed f8 and image was perfect. But after about 40 copies i had some background and for sure it was drum.
till now image is not ok. If i replace only opc drum is enough?

is the machine using OEM toner or aftermarket/forusein dirt in a bottle?

also did you reset the counters before f8 and turn machine off then on to verify they were 0 . if it crapped out after 40 coipes i would not suspect toner since you can run 100 before it adds toner. if you replace just the drum and not dev and reset drum it wil give a c2557. if you rebuilt this start with new drum unit . could also be hv unit
