    [Electrical] mono 554e no display

I have a 554e with no display on the ops panel.
The fans are running but the light on the sub power switch isn't on and the display is blank.
I have so far tried a new display, mfp board and memory and checked the power supply voltages but the machine still wont boot up.
I have tried starting it with the HDD disconnected but again no boot.
    Has anyone experienced this before?

When you replaced the MFP board you still had no display at all?
Pull the ssd board off and try to boot. You should get at least 2 pillars and at least you will know the display works.
Replacing the MFP board is a detailed time killing process. Did you try to boot to a firmware stick?
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

Good advice from Synthohol. First thing you need to do is see if control panel is working. I've had a few go bad and stay black. You have to at least get to the point of pillars showing.

Does your machine have a dual scan board?
If it does remove it completly off of the mfp board and turn machine on,if it boots up and goes into error then you have a faulty dual scan board.
I have had this issue on a B654e.
