Flag out of position in branch section? Or bent photointerrupter holder. Sticky gate.

Eject rollers seizing up? (Slow reverse)

Reg actuator worn ( short timing/loop on plain duplex).

Dust removers full of paper dust / reflective sensor soiled.

Which tray is it doing it with mostly?

there is a little rubber/foam silencer pad on the left side of where the duplex gate contacts.
i have seen this pad cause jamming from the gate either getting stuck in the wrong position or when it swells from heat it wont allow the gate to open all the way.
i scrape it off with my nail and it will click louder during duplex but jams are gone.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
      The medication helps though...

replace foam pad with some E Tape... just like you would an HP Plate Solenoid be sure to clean the gate that connects to pad with IPA
