    [Error Code] bizhub pro 951 shows sometimes C22-22, toner concetration is too low



    Hello to all,

    a bizhub pro 951 shows sometimes error code C22-22. The toner concentration is too low, that's why the prints are too bright.
    Unfortunately I have noch training on this model and therefore no experience.
    My colleague, who looks after this model, is sick for two weeks. I have to back him up.
    The helpdesk Konicaminolta Europe could also not give useful support. I downloaded the Field Service Handbook, the error code indicates a problem with the toner pump Motor (M28) rotation abnormality.
    Has anyone of you ever had this problem and can give me a tip how I could proceed??

      It sounds to me like you've got a toner pump failure or a tube blockage. Search "M28" in your manual to see the location illustration, #1 in the illustration. =^..^=

          Found that the augers(mylars) in the front above the dev tank can wear out as well. At least the toner pump and hopper is easy to get to.
          There is a I/O mode to dump the toner from the hopper if you need to see if it flows.

              C-2222 is an M28 (Toner Pump) failure. Replace the toner pump assembly. Get the right pump. The air pump and toner pump look the same but are not interchangeable. If the motor has failed there is a high likelyhood that the tubes are also now blocked. I would disconnect both ends of each tube and vacuum them out while massaging the hoses until they are clear.

                  First, I want to thank everyone who answered me!

                  For a test I exchanged M28 with M29. After a half day, now error C22-26 was displayed. Now, it was clear to me, that M28 is the defective component.
                  Then, I renewed both motors, M28 and M29 and made 1000 test prints.
                  Now I hope, that this problem is solved!

                          Now, several days have passed and the machine is still running without a error code C22-22.
                          Thus, the cause of the error was definitly M28.
