Hello, Customer got some labels stuck in the processor. I removed the front cover, drum shaft knob, removed two screws, released toner hopper and two latches released. The unit pulls out about 1/8 inch but thats it. Is there anything else holding it back? I left the customer site and forgot to open the right side door to see if that was the holdup. does that door need to be opened? Any suggestions would be great. thanks

Re: bizhub 1250 cannot pull out process unit
Someone may have left the latch for the cleaning unit in the up position. You may be able to push the front one down with a long flat blade if you can get to it. If it is a 1250P you can go through the top to access the front and rear latches. -

Re: bizhub 1250 cannot pull out process unit
My guess is that the drum shaft is seized to the drum bearings. If it were me, I would apply a couple drops of penetrating oil (like Marvel Mystery Oil) to the spot where the drum shaft meets the front bearing. Then I would apply some pulling pressure with my left hand on the image unit, and with my right hand GENTLY tap on the end of the drum shaft with a small hammer. The vibration from the tapping helps the oil penetrate. If you do it right you won't fall on your ass when it comes loose. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: bizhub 1250 cannot pull out process unit
if the ADU is pulled out the process unit is locked in place.
close the adu and the process unit will be released. We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
The medication helps though...Comment

How did I miss that?!
Yes, just put the handle back on the shaft and unscrew the handle ASSEMBLY from the drum shaft.
I never thought of doing it that way. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
