    Bizhub C253 Many Lines without print image

    Has anybody ever seen such a printed image?

      I saw something like this on a Toshiba Weisshorn 2H, after a power outage/surge.

      I interpreted it to be laser self-focus problem. What I did is run the color calibration ... perhaps 20 times. Each time I did it it came back a little better. If I had done it ... oh ... 10 more times, it would have been perfect, but by then I was getting pretty irritated at how slowly it was coming back.

      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.

      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

          Doing it when copying & printing? All internal test pages do the same thing? Any codes?

          I agree with BC it has something to do with the printhead. But since this has 4 separate laser units and all couldn't be bad I would look at a board as the problem.

                  Thank you for the answers.

                  There are no codes.

                  Color calibration makes no difference.

                  The same problem by copying and printing.

                  I swapped the mfp board but unfortunately without success.

                  Now, I will change the controller, because the ribbon cable of the laser units goes directly to the controller.
