Jam 31 on Bizhub C754 with FS-535 Finisher

Just refurbed this C754 we got in from an auction, and upon connecting the FS-535 and powering up for the first time, Jam 31. No paper or dust at PS-1 (finisher entry detection sensor). Nothing showing in the machine's Jam Log! We don't know if this machine had this problem before we got it in, or if its something new. Machine boots up and runs OK with no finisher attached.

Oops! Never mind. Found lower finisher entry guide plate was shifted to the rear a very slight amount, just enough to block PS1 if you even breathed on it.
Must have got bent in shipment. Thanks anyway!

Hello, I know this is almost 7 years later but I have the same problem on the exact same unit. Was operating it without the finisher for a moment and plugged the finisher back in and now have this error. I'm not sure where the sensor is to clean, any direction here would be very appreciated! Thank you!IMG_8282.jpg

can you enable real jam codes? or look in tech rep and see what the real codes are? 31 is a location, not a code

        The medication helps though...

I'm not seeing the jam that's currently happening upon turning the printer on in the jam history. The Issue started yesterday but the last jam showing is on the 12th. Here are pics of the first and last jam history pages (apologies for the glare)

the most recent codes I can see are 3205 and 6633

I also just realized that I have a FS-534, thought it was a 535 apologies

i know this sounds silly but i have to ask, was the finisher plugged in while the machine was on? even in sleep
also 3205 is ps39 exit sensor right above the fuser if i remember
the 6633 was a adf jam.

ive seen bridge units blow the board if plugged in while on.
if thats the case, it happens to all of us in a WTFDIJD moment
replace the bridge unit was the only cure i had.

It's possible it was plugged in while in sleep. Is there a way to test if the board is blown? Thanks for being so responsive!

                  I'm pretty sure it's porked.
You can try to replace just the horizontal transport board but honestly there are enough retired RUs out there you should be able to find a whole one cheap.

Got it, I'm looking at replacements. In the meantime do you know a good website/place to get these parts?

Not too seem overly simplistic, as I don't know your skill level, but did you remember to plug the RU into the finisher? If you fail to connect that cable what you will get is a perpetual jam in the RU, as seen in your picture, that can't be cleared.

Okay I've ordered a new-used fs534 finisher that I've plugged in and am experiencing the same error code. Which makes me think something is going on with the printer? Any help here is much appreciated
