    Bizhub Pro c6500

I have a Customer that has 1 of these and needs it Evaluated to see if its worth repairing or if its time to replace. I do not regularly repair them and need some info on how to get into service mode and if there is a way to determine what the yield on the high mortality parts might be.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Parts availability will be an issue. Obsolete. Better not to touch it if you can. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I agree, dont involve if you can.
I have 3 of similar machines (C5501) in working state and still dont have problems with parts,i use DU-104 drum units and lots of parts fits from C6000 for example.
I am sad because this machine is old and obsolete but they were made to long last and durable and newer machines C1060,C2060,C3070... are very fragile and gentle in my opinion.

Too old. Was a very good machine back in the day. Parts are getting very difficult to come by.

To see basic parts life (drum, developer, charge units...) just press "utility/counter" button and "details" i think, and you see and can print list with counters.
For detail parts counter press "utility/counter"-stop00stop01-in service mode go to "Counter/Data" -"Parts Counter" "Count of special parts" and you have several pages with parts counters.
But dont believe 100% in that numbers because somebody may have clear them without replacing parts.
Visual check and work test is better way to see in what condition is machine and what should be replaced.
