Re: Konica c284e stuck at boot screen
AFAIK, the MFP Board Rest Tool is effective and permanent. It certainly does not fix everything, but it's bailed me out several times. The only drawback that I know of is incidentally changing the admin password and CE password, requiring a quick call to the hotline for a reset code. I wish every manufacturer had a software tool like this. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

About changing board on these machines, in this case you can swap out one board at a time to test.
Trick is if that board is not the problem put the boards back where you found them then power up both, then try the next one.
This includes the SSD.
If you managed to fix the issue put all the boards back where you found them and order the board you need.
Unless the donor machine is scraped just leave it in there and all should be well.
Would be use full if someone here can expand on the reset tool use.
So you can use used boards.Comment

they USED to have a Maint Tool to pull serial # - Page Counts - Supply Counts when changing the CU Bd... no longer... and you CANNOT input from panel/RUI that info. but the boss is getting away from new OKI ( they cut us from the PRO series even tho we have 30 in the field ) so NOW he is pushing the Epson WorkForce - T and P series. ** friggin' ink **Comment
