    [CQ] C554e

    Hi
I have a C554e that keeps detoning black coming up with C2557. Changed k tank and HV. The gradiation patten (copy) is fine , the print one is not good on the half side of the A3. When i tone the machine up it runs for a day or so then C2557 by that time tcr level is on 0%.
    Please anyone with a solution.
    Thanks
    Jabu

You may not be aware of what they are capable of doing to some end users.
At least what i saw on the field.

Do they do very high image fill ... say, over 70% of any single color? Continuous printing of high fill originals can deplete the developer density below 2% without ever showing a toner add indication. It can go directly into a C2557 or "An internal error has occurred."

AFAIK, this situation is just a limitation of the e series. If you bump up the developer density to 9% you can delay it, but fill levels over 70% of any one color printed continuously will detone the developer. =^..^=

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
