These stupid questions have to be asked: Are you sure you have the rollers in right? Did you take the cleaning roller assembly out and move lever to make sure gears turn and move roller properly?

Like the other post with resetting the counter, did you reset to "0" or "250,000". It should be set to "250,000" because it counts down if not mistaken? And if set to "0" it will never move!

also if i remember correctly you have to turn off mains power and restart for it to count again.

As old as the BH600 is the solenoid could just be bad. There is a I/O check in the manual that turns this off/on manually.
