    Bizhub 25e

Guys is the bizhub 25e (Muratec MFX3530) a good replacement for the older bh-240f?

OK thanks for that input. What made this machine worse than the BH-240f?

        Re: Bizhub 25e

I disagree. I think it is a good little box. I have a few in the field and have been working great! I have one where the customer is running 5k+ pages per month with no issues.

Another way I can tell if machines are any good is when I get the wholesale list every week there are many Biz 25e's with over 100k on them. Typically you won't see that high of page counts if a bad machine.

The reason it is probably a good small machine is Kon/Min didn't make it and is a Muratec as Hans points out in his initial post. Don't misunderstand me I think Kon/Min make great boxes but not their small models. All I can think of is the PP1390 and even the later C35 are dogs! Best to let someone else design small models for Kon/Min.

Nope don't like it. The best A4 machine so far is the C3350 and it has problems.
There is creative ways to save cost on the later.

Yes Allan, but the customer wants B&W.

Like I posted Hans, I only have a few of them with that one account running 5k+ per month. Not sure if that gives you enough to make a decision but I would think if a bad machine I would have been servicing the machines a lot more. With that customer running 5k+ They don't have room for a bigger machine (doctors office). It becomes costly with replacing toners every few months if not in the right office. The supplies are expensive but usually are with the low end machines. All the 25e's I service I sold "off lease" to my customers. All under 20k pages printed and the cost from my wholesaler is $25. I sell them for $400-500

I still have one 25e on the field, for few years only changed toners and drums, recently start to buckling paper, had to replace fuser.
I think its now on about 150k.
When i first saw 240f i think its garbage but have 20 of them leased and all works pretty good with minor problems and some of them done over 400k when usually must replace whole fuser and that was not cheap.

I have never worked on the 240 but I have on the 25e and I can say that I am not a fan. The display and service mode alone is enough to make me want to stay away. I think something like the 4052 would be much better then the 25e.

The M4070 Samsung would be my recommendation, not sure if they are supplied anywhere anymore. Pity.
Instead of those lexmarks like the 4050.

It looks like. Has the same frontdoor as the Lexmark printers and also the bizhub-4700p printers from KonicaMinolta which are also of Lexmark origin.

Bizhub 4052 looks like exactly like Lexmark XM3250 except operation panel.
