Has anyone tried replacing the roller or belt in the 224-454 fusers (NOT 554,654,754, they are different fuser)? I see there are aftermarket parts available.
I had good success using the aftermarket roller & belt in the C253's when the orange rollers would explode. Hopefully not as hard to do. The C253 was a nightmare! Eventually got it down to 1.5 hrs from 5 -6 hrs first time.
I know you have to bite the bullet sometimes but man it hurts when it's a contract customer and you have to lay out $600+ for a new fuser assembly.
