    C3851 fs

Does anyone know if there is a way to run the c3851fs without the internal finisher?

Try service mode. System 1. Unit isolation. There must be another way though. In Europe, the finisher is an option.

      You just physically remove it.

      Is it causing problems?

What have you got against this cheesy, incredibly flimsy marvel of modern engineering?

just an fyi the 3850fs finisher will plug in and go. there are bulletins about these units, in a nutshell remove, disassemble,CLEAN,and lube the rails and things that move on them with drysurf. i have had good luck fixing these by doing this. i in the past have used plusguard also with good results.

you can just disable it and will just pull the copies out yourself. same as last post said isolation.
